Artwork can make a great gift as you can get a piece of art or a print by your loved ones favourite artist. Lets face it this is so much better than getting standard gifts like world globes or ladies cufflinks. This is why I recently decided to take my partner on a trip to Plymouth University to see the Beryl Cook retrospective. The gallery was full of Beryl Cook prints and art as well as a few rarities. These included furniture and dolls that the artist had made before she died as well as some personal portraits that the Cook family have kindly donated to the event.
If you are a fan of Beryl’s art the exhibition runs until December 20th so it is worth taking an art lover for a visual treat.
